When moving back to Toronto I had no clue where we would actually settle. Being alone with my three boys is no easy feat so finding an environment that made it is as easy as possible was KEY.
The conveniences of walking to the beach , the skateboard park, the boys school in my backyard, the Queen Street car, the movies, the farmers market....all at our fingertips . We never have to leave.
Most important the freaking cool people. I love the local feel of Leslieville. I do everything here. I get my hair done a few streets over at an amazing stylists home who is also a mom. I have been treated to lunch at many a cool local spot with one of my favorites being Franklys. Holy tasty food!
In starting the newest chapter of FITMOM can you Leslieville Love... Open arms and kindness of local business owners and people is all I have experienced. (we will be at Artists Play at 1112 Dundas Street ). I have not taught in over 6 months ( my biggest hiatus in 11 years )
I feel like a live in a small town with instant access to my favorite big city. BLISS.
Last night I crawled into my cozy bed that faces the street. As I am falling a sleep I hear someone singing and strumming a guitar walking down the street. Im pretty sure I feel asleep with a smile on my face.
Stay tuned for more adventures in Leslieville
